Are the Angels the anti-Rangers?

I've been thinking... In the 2000s, the Rangers were known for being all offense and no pitching. My biggest fear around 2005-2007 or so was that they would get a clue and start developing pitching. Guess what? That happened. It took Mike Maddux.

What about the Halos? They're all pitching and no offense. We're the anti-Rangers. What can we do about it, to create a turnaround like the stRangers did? Do we get rid of Hatcher? What organizational philosophy needs to change to make it happen?

I didn't mean this to be an anti-Hatcher screed, but while writing it, that's how it turned out.

And yes, this probably should have been a fanshot, but the formatting on "chat" fanshots sucks.
