Angels Eleven Runs in Six Games Yield Four Wins

ANAHEIM, CA - JUNE 16: (L-R)Catcher John Hester #41 and pitcher Ervin Santana #54 of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim celebrate defeating the Arizona Diamondbacks 2-0 at Angel Stadium of Anaheim on June 16, 2012 in Anaheim, California. (Photo by Lisa Blumenfeld/Getty Images)

The Angels scored eleven runs over six games and managed to win four of them. The Dodgers and Diamondbacks were stymied by Angels pitching and the result was a meager offensive showing getting the maximum result. Here is my video analysis...

Consider that Garrett Richards won two tight contests, Ervin Santana delivered the second greatest Angels pitching performance of the season, Jerome Williams was splendid through seven innings, Dan Haren intentionally walked Miguel Montero who had previously had a ten-pitch at-bat against him in the game before giving up a big homer ...oh and in the middle of it C.J. Wilson was being C.J. ...oh and Scott Downs has had a ribcage injury since pitching in Colorado nine days ago and saw no time on the mound at all ...oh and Jered Weaver watched it all from the dugout railing when he wasn't throwing a bullpen intent on making it back this week.

Dan Haren faced his old team Friday. Joe Saunders faced his old team Saturday. Jerome Williams faces his old team tonight.
