Mrs. red floyd and I attended another ALS awareness and fundraiser event tonight. At the California Collegiate League All Star Game. There was a home run derby between Jose Canseco and Denny Crine. Canseco lost.
Steve Garvey hosted, and Soth was there.
In addition, there were some other oldtimers there... I can only remember Ken Landreaux, Steve Yeager, and Jay Johnstone right now (I'm so bad).
It was broadcast live on FSW tonight, and I think it will probably be rerun for a while... check your listings! It may be only the game, not the derby, but there's an interview with the president of the local ALS Association chapter in the first or second inning.
