In Dallas, the Rangers homers say he is questionable for Monday's game: Angels whiz Trout questionable for start of series vs. Rangers | Texas Rangers Blog
But Mike Scioscia told Alden that he was considering a way to get Trout into Sunday's game: Trout a late scratch with knee contusion | angels.com: News "...Mike Trout was not in the starting lineup for Sunday's game against the Rays after suffering a left knee contusion banging into the wall on Saturday night."
Yeah, that stupid word CONTUSION is just jargon for BRUISE but hey, three syllables: Trout sidelined with knee contusion
And in case you were wondering, it is his left knee: Mike Trout out of lineup Sunday with left knee contusion | HardballTalk ..."As relayed by Angels communications manager Eric Kay, phenom outfielder Mike Trout has been scratched from Sunday afternoon's series-finale against the Rays because of a left knee contusion. There is not an MRI scheduled and Trout is listed as day-to-day."
Ummm... if Trout is out (oh dear, that rhymed, how can it be turned against us?) the Angels are toast, congratulations to the Athletics on winning the AL West. I think it behooves press with access to the club to get a picture of the bruise, I mean, the contusion.
