Did anyone else see this today on ESPN.com? Did we know it was Arte's doing?

JUL 31 9:30 AM ET By Andrew Pentis | ESPN The Magazine Rally MonkeyKirby Lee/US PresswireTorii Hunter greets fans with the Rally Monkey, a unique part of the Anaheim Angels' tradition. Every day of baseball season, in seventh innings around the country, fans stand and sing lyrics that were written way back in 1908. The sheer shelf life of "Take Me Out to the Ball Game" proves that America’s first pastime has long been intertwined with its tunes. But for a more unique connection between city and club, teams rely on their own traditions -- some newer, some older.

We decided to find out the one song that each team relies on to get fans on their feet.

We're featuring the music from one team per day here on ESPN Playbook. To see past entries, click here.

Los Angeles Angels
Song: “Build Me Up, Buttercup” by The Foundations
Tradition: Played during the seventh-inning stretch at Angel Stadium

Fun facts:
• Rumor has it “Buttercup” was chosen by owners Arte and Carole Moreno because it was among their favorite songs, but the Angels say it was simply the first song tested ... and it tested well.
• Fans sing along as the words are displayed on one of four outfield video boards.

Bonus music:
• Train’s “Calling All Angels” accompanies a montage of historic Angels footage before every game.
• Every season, the club’s in-game entertainment staff produces new videos of the Rally Monkey that helped the Halos to the 2002 World Series title. They usual depict the pumped-up primate in a popular movie clip.
