If Scioscia was gone, who would manage?

Scioscia, of course, has received a lot of justified and unjustified criticism for his managing this year. Today in the OCR I saw a "pearl" quote that said we should bring in Francona. I hate this idea. I think what often gets missed is that the Angels simply sloughed off the best manager in baseball and no one really seems to think about it much. The guy that should replace Scioscia is Joe Maddon.
