According to Fangraphs, the Angels lead the AL in WAR. How is WAR interpreted as a team statistic? Are the Angels actually overachieving this year? Do the Angels just have a few studs (cough...Trout...cough...Trumbo...cough...Weaver) bringing up the average for the whole team? Similarly, the Orioles have the WORSY Team WAR, but are still in the hunt for the Wild Card against expectations. Are they underachieving? I am confused.
