— Seriously, what the F is up with this team? Just a month or so ago, this team was 1st in the league in preventing runs. The offense was pretty mediocre after a slow start, but the pitching was excellent despite shaky BP all year. Then the offense really started to crank it up and pitching started pulling a Pujols after 6 weeks. I periodically check the Angels standing in runs scored and runs allowed and when they were just starting to pull themselves out of a miserable season they were first in runs allowed. Now they are about 4th or 5th, but all the while the offense has exploded. There was that fun month and a half where the offense was developing but the pitching was declining, but still good and they played .700 baseball but outside of that stretch it has been completely frustrating. I suppose there is a chance it could swing back the other way and we could have another month of .700 ball again. Here's hoping.
