Alright, let's face it. The Angels bullpen this year has been far from good, on the verge of terrible. It's one of the worst Angel bullpens I've seen in 30 years. But for some reason, Mike Scioscia seems to have confidence in them.
I'm going to give you a few scenarios. How about Zack Greinke in Kansas City. He was pitching into the ninth, and was pulled. They put in Ernesto Frieri and he allowed back to back home runs, and the angels lost.
How about even tonight? Jered Weaver was pitching just fine, and Mike puts in Kevin Jepsen who immediately allows a 2 run home run.
With things like this happening commonly, it raises the question, why the hell does Mike Scioscia have such confidence in his bullpen? The angels starters need to be going as far into a game as possible in my opinion, and Mike doesn't seem to realize this.
