Mark Langston has All American Good Looks - but not THIS All American - Julia Vynokurova
The Former Pitcher is now teamed with Terry Smith for 2013's Angels Radio Broadcasts
The Angels have hired Mark Langston to be the full time radio counterpart to Terry Smith in the radio booth for the 2013 season. The Angels radio network is flagshipped at KLAA 830 AM in Anaheim.
Jose Mota was transferred to the Spanish Language Radio Booth and will be included on Fox Sports West Pregame and Postgame shows. Victor Rojas and his greatness will be joined again by Mark Gubicza's lack of vocabulary for the FSN-West telecasts.
Langston did fill-in work for the Angels on the radio and was, in my opinion, a hell of a lot better behind the microphone then he was on the mound for the Halos. He provided great insight into player mentalities and detailed strategies with a fresh clarity without all the alpha-personality of Rex Hudler nor mumblemouthed improvisation of Mota.
My only critique of Langston was that he would worry like a nagging girlfriend during tight situations, which might lend insight into why he was such a gutless choker on the mound in big game situations over the years.
