As clean-shaven a pic of him as you may ever find - Claus Andersen
Reliever Bobby Cassevah is the odd man out in the revamped Angels bullpen
Okay, so no team wanted him but he chose to be a free agent to negotiate with any number of those same teams.
Cassevah was above average as a bullpen arm in a mediocre pen these past few seasons. His most memorable game as an Angel was probably the 2012 home game against the Yankees where Jered Weaver injured himself on the mound and left the game in the first inning. Cassevah had been called up to the club specifically because the pen was stretched thin and ended up pitching 3.1 Innings and allowing only one run. Gutsy!
He had some shoulder issues and the Angels even gave him a spot on the Arizona Fall League roster - rare for a player with any MLB service time - to get some work in. With an ERA over 6.00 in the AFL, the dumping of BC is not a huge surprise.
He finishes his tenure with the club holding a respectable 122 ERA+ and a 3.20 ERA in 50 Games as an Angel.
The Angels have not announced any roster moves. The club's 40-Man Roster now stands at 39.
