Tonight, the Angels had a rough outing just as they have all season. C.J. Wilson took the hill for the Angels and had a decent outing. Wilson went seven innings while allowing two runs; however, his counterpart did much better. The White Sox ace, Chris Sale, dominated the Halos from the start and finished with twelve strikeouts after leaving in the eight. And Chris Sale laughed at the Halos after being taken out by manager Robin Ventura. Or at least that's what I think he was laughing about. Jesse Crain came in to set up and Addison Reed earned the save.
The Angels hitting was dead: three hits. That's all. Josh Hamilton struck out twice (surpise!) and left three men on base. As for the White Sox hitting, Adam Dunn launched the ball into the seats in right field. So at least some underachievers brought something today!
