Beltre's Walkoff HR is Buttercup Trifecta For Angels

The Song Remains The Same... - Tim Heitman-USA TODAY Sports

uh......

Yeah, that happened.

For the third straight game, the Angels bullpen served up a walkoff home run to a Rangers batter. The Rangers swept the Angels to stay a small factor in the American League West race and an afterthought in the wild card race for Harold Reynolds to ignore while stroking Yankee jock.

Reliever Michael Kohn served up a bottom of the ninth pitch to Adrian Beltre's liking and the former Dodgers prospect hit it into the stands.

Yesterday it was Daniel Stange giving up a three-run bomb in extras to Leonys Martin.

On Monday it was Ernesto Frieri lobbing a fat pitch up to... ah who cares. 2013 is over two months prematurely and the Angels are playing meaningless games. Facing Toronto at home tomorrow should be a hoot - what will the attendance be? Will the stadium be a ghost town by the end of the season? If it is will marketing genius Smarte Moreno call it the Los Angeles Knotts Berry Farm of Anaheim?
