According to like twenty or so sources on twitter the Angels are sending the following players to play in the Arizona Fall League:
Righty reliever R.J. Alvarez - The Angels first pick of the 2012 draft has a 1.20 WHIP for the Low-A Burlington Bees. A projected future closer, he has 72 K in 46 IP. He is two months older than Mike Trout.
Right-handed relief pitcher Cam Bedrosian - A 2010 first round pick (29th overall), this projected future reliever is the son of former MLB closer Steve Bedrosian. He has allowed 57 hits in 59 IP over both levels of A ball in 2013 but has struck out 73 batters along the way. He is two months younger than Mike Trout.
RH bullpen arm Mike Morin - A 13th round pick in 2012 out of North Carolina, his most impressive stat is walking only four batters of the 112 he has faced in 2013. HE is three months older than Mike Trout.
Lefthanded Pitcher Michael Roth - We've seen him in the bigs. He is being fast-tracked back to Anaheim for sure. He has started 14 games for the AA Travelers this season, so don't think of him exclusively as a relief pitcher. He is a year and a half older than Mike Trout.
Catcher Jett Bandy - A Double-A catcher with a .380 slugging-%... sounds like Mike Scioscia's dream. Hope his walk up music is JET by Paul McCartney and Wings... then all will be forgiven. he is a year and four months older than Mike Trout.
Slugger C.J. Cron - former first round pick (17th overall) is getting the look as insurance at 1B for an aging Albert Pujols and the possible trading of Mark Trumbo. He is a year and eight months older than Mike Trout.
2B Taylor Lindsey - perhaps the last great player taken by Eddie Bane during his Angels tenure, Lindsey was the 37th overall pick in the 2010 draft. His OPS of .790 isn't off the charts, but in offensively-challenged Little Rock it ain't a worse-case scenario. He is four months younger than Mike Trout.
OF Zach Borenstein - His OPS in San Bernardino (our High-A 66'ers) is an even 1.000 today! Taken int he 23rd round of the 2011 draft, he is a year and a month older than Mike Trout.
These players will comprise 1/5 of the Mesa Solar Sox roster.
