After walking the first man of the game, Kipper induced a double play, and proceeded to make 26 outs in sequence. Not only did he beat Kyle Zimmer, KC's former #5 pick in the 2012 draft, he was caught by a just promoted Jose Briceno (the other piece in the Andrelton Simmons trade), the first game they were ever paired together. Kipper, a 9th round selection in the 2014 draft, struck out eight batters along the way to 6-0 Travelers victory on the road.
