Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim Game 95/162
Game Thread - Angels at Royals - Santana vs. Gobble - 5:10 p.m.
If the Sun has set, will the Voodoo rise away from home?
Intentionally Altered Movie Lines:
C-3PO: Did you hear that? They shut down the American League West. We'll be destroyed for sure. This is madness.
The Royals just gave Boston a scare or three, so this is no pushover. Needless to say, you just know the Angels will be loading up on the bah-buh-koo over the next four days. And if it turns out to be a laugher of a four game set, maybe Boston's best days are behind them - good to know as we head there next weekend.

Has anyone ever predicted an Angels loss?
Angels: 7/13
Royals: 4/9
I did
Never pick Bartolo in home day games.
I think I only missed the exact score by one run.
You should be ashamed of yourself...
Somebody show this man the door.
:-)
you missed the time
oh man...
clarification:
I know all about the...
As for the sacrificial lamb, was Johnsamo around earlier in the season? I'm surprised you guys didn't ban him back then... :-)
El Mineo
But it would be nice to know how to spell it.

Team from one of the Pathetics' former homes: 2/6
Why am I trying to solve The Hud?

Can someone explain
YES YES YES YES YES!!!
The Angels are very good...
Oh boy!
What's up, Ervin? Following Big John's example from yesterday, or what?
Sorry for the rant, but after such great outings, this type of performance is just about inexcusable.
OK
Santana
yikes
Something tells me
i think..
Where's the plate?
Road game
he loses it at home, too
YEAH nappy shaved !!
gotta change the luck!!!!

great
What I find annoying
Living in the past
But he's not the same player he used to be. Scioscia apparently can't see this, as he has justified GA's place in the lineup on what he has done in the past rather than what he is presently capable of doing. It's completely irrational.
I mean

i really dont
ditto that one
What Ervin reminds me of today
Crash Davis: All right, then...
[throws him a baseball]
Crash Davis: ... hit me in the chest with that.
Ebby Calvin LaLoosh: I'd kill you!
Crash Davis: Yeah? From what I hear, you couldn't hit water if you fell out of a fucking boat.
cont...
my favorite
Larry: New league record!
Joe Reardon: Struck out 18.
Larry: Another new league record! In addition he hit the sportswriter, the public address announcer, the bull mascot twice...
[Joe laughs]
Larry: Also new league records! But, Joe, this guy's got some serious shit.
At this rate
heard this bunting stuff before
who the hell on this team CAN bunt?
Good point
IMHO
you betcha baby
Honestly
It is certainly a lost art. You would think with all the years with Soxh at the helm, it would be a company standard, that you have to be able to bunt if you want to play on the Halos.
I love replying to my own post
it's about freakin time
Where's matt?? short swing, short swing LOL
also, to bring up an argument
Not sure what you're talking about here
under the Tejada post
Phyzz
I think we got lucky in that inning
GA
just stand up there.
Another data point for Mike
ANDERSON CAN'T HIT LEFTIES!!
why is GA doing the DH thing?
Because Scioscia
Or else Anderson has pictures of him with an underage goat.
wahoooooooooo
Nice
I like this guy more and more.

Hudler is such a fucking idiot
NO YOU STUPID PIECE OF CRAP -- HE YANKED O-CAB'S FOOT AFTER THE FACT, JUST LIKE THE REPLAY YOU JUST WATCHED SHOWED. Also, you might note the umpire making a signal having to do with waving his arm around. Good god he is powerful dumb.
calm, breathe in, blow it out, breathe in......
Man.
I want more Hudler antics!
Although I have to admit Howie Kendrick Nintendo Stats was gold. Haha.
I actually kind of like Hudler

foul ball, Mientkiewicz ran over AG
You know
I'd heard
Yes.
- Bizarre in-game moves including — wait for it — a telegraphed suicide squeeze
- A space-aliens-have-landed-and-replaced-Shields-with-a-changeling game in which he surrendered actual runs to KC's popgun offense.
- Humiliating five-run leads given up by the tandem of Byrd and Yan was also a game in which Scioscia had .203-hitting Steve Finley batting third.
- Actual 8-5 losses with Bartolo "El Ladrón" Colón and Kevin Gregg on the mound.
- Back in 2004, a Ramon Ortiz implosion that was rectified thanks only to a four-run top of the ninth, aided by a pair of Kansas City errors.
OOOOHHHHHHHHHHH
could we possibly...
