Minimum Major League Salary is $380,000... Minor Leaguers who get called up get a pro-rated payment based on # of days on the 25-man roster.

I really want to see what Terry Evans can do

He hammered AA pitching, but we have a full outfield. If Matthews goes down, or Rivera or someone else, what are the chances he comes up for a stint this year? He's not getting any younger.

"The Tigers are satisfied they won't see a recurrence of the right wrist and forearm inflammation that sidelined Joel Zumaya for three games of the ALCS. Why? Club president and general manager Dave Dombrowski told WXYT-AM the team had concluded Zumaya's injury resulted from playing a video game.
