As for me, while I'll never claim he's the second coming of Roy Hobbs, I like the fact he hustles from sun up to sun down, has a knack for getting hits in clutch situations, has little bit of pop in his bat, won't be a distraction on the bench as he would certainly understand his role, making him a consummate team player. He's also an inexpensive option compared to other possibilities. The Angels must have similar thoughts, otherwise he wouldn't be back for his third season with them.
