Apparently, it's Hargrove and Bavasi. Somebody from the Angels organization should file a protest with the MLB front office, for all the good that will do. If nothing else, it will bring to bear the light of the national media on their sorry asses and force those chickenshits into having to blubber up some excuses.

Of course, if the Angels didn't want to be twisting in the wind, blowing to and fro according to the mercy of Mike Hargrove and his stellar 75 wins, all they needed was to do something small. Say, for example, teach Vlad to slide.

Driving down Katella today...

about as elegantly as an elephant. I love it when he does slide; kind of gives a little hop, bends the knee of choice, falls on the side of the leg then slides til about 3 inches from the base and stops dead in his tracks. Oh, and the ball got there 10 seconds before he did.
