has squared up a baseball the way he could.  I can still hear the gunshot sound as the ball came off his bat as he laced one of his patented single hop line drives into the stands down the right field foul line.  I never understood what happened to this guy's potential.  Now I do - Twenty five year mystery solved!

The first great Angel died homeless on the mean streets of L.A. without much tribute. The game and its heros mean too much to those of us who grew up listening to a transistor radio in bed late at night to chuckle at the possibility of another Halo going the way Leon Wagner did.
