Seems to me the only person who didn't raise their stock today was bootcheck (I've always been really questionable on this guy)

Kotch and kendrick had nice games. Kendrick 3-4 again? Does this put him back over .500 haha

I was trying to get on air on Angel talk--but I never did--and was going to say that Kendrick should be promoted. He hit over .400 for around a month in the minors before they promoted him (with a slugging at the time around .670).

It annoyed me to no end that all they were talking about was "we need a bat" when we had a guy hitting ridiculous in AAA. Eventually he got promoted and hit about .500 for a few weeks and then everyone started to take notice.

I wonder if he got promoted earlier if it would have made a difference in the division...that and if they would have just got rid of Jeff Weaver sooner and not demoted Jered.

Bootcheck...

...had bets placed on the game against the angels that in 16 years he'll say was because of his "sheer passion for the game." So it was entirely intentional that he gave up a 2 run lead in the bottom of the ninth.

Either that, or he choked big time.

i think they just overextended him, should of used whoever they had available to close out the game, instead of letting bootcheck try three innings

Get the come-from-ahead losses outta the way early

Against the A's, no less. Work out the bugs in spring training...I hope. No more Frankie-return-throw-from-home flops like we had a couple of years ago in Oakland.
