The Concrete Road Trip begins NOW...
Post Your OPD GUESSES here.
Random Song Lyrics
Her mouth was watery and wet.
But now something has changed
For she ain't the same,
She just acts like we never have met.
Can we count the number of starts that Bartolo Ervin has left as an Angel on one hand or still two?

irrelevant prognostication of the day: Vlad will hit one into the tank, striking a devil ray. As a result, PETA will be protesting wednesday's contest.

Rays 5 10
Amerie
Delmon 7.12
Anderson is doing OK but we need some power. Morales/Evans/Brown would do just fine but Scioscia is counting on Anderson to hit 25HRs and bat .289. I would love to have Delmon Young come to Anaheim, that kid is going to be a super star and hes already raking me up some fantisy points.
Go Halos, Prove me wrong!!!!!!
Lame but true!!!!!!!!
The rays kick ass but their pitching sucks.
VLAD doesnt have an alarm he has a TRUNK MONKEY!!!!

Team site says Colon-oscopy.
Either way, Tampon Bay is going to be running and running today.

Standard lineup
C. Figgins 3b .307
O. Cabrera ss .320
V. Guerrero rf .326
G. Matthews Jr. cf .282
G. Anderson dh .288
C. Kotchman 1b .290
M. Izturis 2b .252
J. Molina c .224
I'd flip Izzy & Kotch, to avoid the lefty stack and give Casey more breathing room to get his noggin back, but that's just nitpicking....
Wasnt Napoli going to be activated today?
LOL good one!!!!!

I'll go with G.A.

Navarro
Still a terrible trade
Unless he's just a terrible person. I guess the rumor is that he doesn't work hard? If they determined him to be cancerous or something, then you could justify it. But yeah, it's been amazing to see all these former Dodger phee-noms just eating dirt elsewhere. So far I've been wrong, and they've been right, but I'll always like the odds of a catcher who posts a .354 OBP at age 21.
Do you look at it?
Only one more than Adrian Beltre
Too funny
I suggest you go watch the 2004 ALDS and tell me he is good.
Um...
Great Analysis
Beltre - 9 errors 78 games/677.67 innings
Spot on! They are really comparable.
Gotta laugh at that
J mo
time for some pitch outs
lol remember when we were talking about
Mike Butcher making the walk out to mound
Not really
Should be 1-0
Mike Witt
Well, Santana is Witt all over again. When I started this post, the Angels tied the game. That didn't last.

That is it
The only reason
So far, we have no reason to believe that Santana is ailing physically; the same cannot be said for the large intestine.
There's only one Joe Saunders.
I guess they could move Moseley back into the rotation, and bring up someone else (Marcus Gwyn? Jason Bulger?) to replace Moseley in the 'pen.
Although neither of those guys is on the 40-man, I suspect they could be added without any problem since Carrasco & Hillenbrand left two vacancies.
Darren Oliver also has experience as a starter...
Have fun on that JetBlue flight to SLC, Ervin
He might end up a #2 on that rotation
Can you blame him?

How about bringing Paul Byrd back?
byrd was sweet
I don't want to exaggerate or anything
by cardinalwraith on Jul 17, 2007 6:53 PM PDT up reply actions
They wouldn't
Byrd had told the Halos he'd re-up for the same deal ($1 yr, about $5 million). Stoneman took him at his word; however, he couldn't ignore the multi-year guaranteed deals that were coming his way at that point, and the Angels didn't want to match, figuring he wouldn't remain in the team's rotation the entire time.
howdy guys
Is it just me, or are Reggie's weaknesses
I was sad I had to work late
Guess I don't have to feel bad about it anymore.
I've been a guy saying ervin can figure it out. Time to switch the tune and say that I still believe he can figure it out, but that he should do it in AAA.
From the Register regarding Santana:
"I think by trying to create some stuff he got away from some other things that are important to him," Scioscia said. "One thing is a consistent breaking ball, the other is the great life he has on his fastball. Maybe he's been trying to mainpulate it too much to force some movement that isn't really where his game is right now."
I don't think the major leagues is where you try to work out new pitches. One would think you'd try that during spring training. You didn't see Frankie busting out that change in every appearance last season.

Good luck, Ervin. Have fun in Utah and I hope you find your game again, buddy.
