New York's alright if you like drunks in your doorway
New York's alright if you wanna freeze to death
New York's alright if you wanna get mugged or murdered

Optimistic, let's take the series!
Angels 6.10
NYSkankees 4.9

Good news:
A-Rod is 1 for 12 against Santana lifetime, Damon 2/11 and Posada just 1/6.
Kotchman is 3/3 against Wang and Figgy is 3/7.

Bad news:
Jeter owns Santana.  5 for 10 with a 2B and 2 HR lifetime, 1.843 OPS.
Kendrick is 2/8 against Wang, with 3 Ks.

Willits for ROY

by 101halo on Jul 7, 2007 11:30 PM PDT reply reply actions actions   0 recs

More good news:
Wang is actually most susceptible to being hit on the first pitch, 0-1 or 1-0 counts, with BAA's of .360, .313 and .372 on those counts, respectively.

Bodes well for Halo early count swinging, ha!

I think I missed something
is it in the rules that we all MUST pick the Angels to win every game.  If so, then that is fair.   But in reality, does everyone here honestly think that the Halos are going to win every game, because by your OPD's you must think they are.  I get jumping on the guy who mostly picks against the Halos, but really....are we really a bunch of homers?

Actually, I Get It....I am just messing with all of you.  Hah!!

Working the Yankees Wang and getting No Satisfaction from it.

I hate that
I guess the good news is if you work the Yankee Wang too much and nothing happens, it gets sore and you gotta put it away.

Then the Halos
need to chafe the hell out of the Yankees Wang and first pitch swinging isn't helping.   That's like applying lube to the Wang

Santana
The most frustrating part is, he really does have awesome stuff.  He can be simply dominant at times.  It's night and day with VooDoo... how do we get more dominance out of him and less garbage like that 1st inning?  Is it even possible?

I think I'd rather go sit in the 100 degree weather and watch the Tempe Angels.

I'm seriously going to Tempe
I'd rather sweat my ass off and watch our rookies then stare at my computer screen and MLB Game Day and watch what is going on.

Now While I'm away let's keep it positive.

As bad as the yankees bully is , we are still in it so long as we quit our first pitch swinging.

do you think Tori
called that bunt just to say "FU" to the Angels?  being ahead 7-0 and doing a small ball play to sort of mock the Angels style of playing?

Oh hell yeah.  And an FU to Santana as well.  Santana was 4-0 vs. the Spankees heading into this game.

just showed Weaver warming up in the pen. Would seem odd to bring him into a game like this, although I suppose there aren't many other options

RESULTS
Well, this can be done by quick inspection.
Angels MIN Run Pick: 3 -> No score (0)
Angels MIN Hit Pick: 3, then 7 -> No score (5)
Yankees MAX Run Pick: 11 -> No score (12)
Yankees 12 Hit Pick: 3 people

Honourable mention for Roger Repoz
My son Roger came closest to the Skanks actual runs scored Sunday.  The 11 Skanks MAX Run Pick was by Roger.

3 people x 1 point = 3 points for all of Halos Heavendom.  Is that the lowest score of the season?
