This is a valuable methodology as it relies on the eyes of those who watch the game rather than on the numbers that only tell part of the story.

Roster status

Right, I get this comment all the time. The roster status is irrelevant. As long as you've seen him for several games, that qualifies you to render your opinion on that player.
