Finish tomorrow
I'd prefer they get it over with tomorrow. I don't need the extra suspense.

Memories
Saw the 1979 game on ONTV
Missed the 1982 game
Heard the 1986 game on the radio
Saw the 2002 game on TV at a bar
Saw the 2004 game on TV at home
Saw the 2005 game live in Oakland.

Ah, yes...
I was at the '82 game, at the '86 game, and traveled to Oakland for the '04 game.  I even ran on the field in '86.  Reggie pussed out and didn't want to be on the field when it was clinched (he always was scared of fans), so I chased Darrell Miller (playing right in lieu of Reg) into the infield and celebrated with the boys.

And while I can't be there tomorrow, I feel that I did my part Thursday night when I sat close enough to Jose Guillen to heckle him all night, even going home hoarse.

They always took out Reggie in the 8th
but after the 77 WS I totally agree with you

I might be scared of fans too...
after a few batteries and quarters came flying my way!

Reggie was even scared of the fans after the game, on his way to the old player's parking lot (actually just twenty or so parking spaces surrounded by a temporary chain-link fence, how times have changed).  He was just so uncomfortable, even with the younger fans.

According to Elias Sports Bureau
The Angels have won a world series every time they've clinched a playoff birth with a fly out to GA.
