Those kids were indeed brats...

He had been beaten and bruised all game (he was crying earlier in that inning) and he had just backhanded a ball thrown by Ape and chucked it to 3rd to try to catch Lofton.  The guy had a bangup game behind the plate.  Frankie's pitch just broke like hell.

It was all destined to make us fear the worst, man.  Imagine if it was only 2-0 when Spiezio came up...

Having it be a five-run deficit made the comeback all that more amazing.

The guy who has season seats in the row behind mine is a huge cowboys fan and flew to dallas after game 6 for the cowboys game to see Emmit Smith set the record - then he tried to get back to SoCal in time for game 7 but a flight delay meant he had to call in and let someone else take his ticket.

oh, it was "smoked into right..."
