Jersey numbers mean a lot in the long history of the Montreal Canadiens. Regrettably, they don't mean a lot to the future of the Canadiens, as more and more players who come up with the Habs are keeping their unsightly assigned digits.
I got bored and decided to compile the data for players who have their jersey numbers retired. These numbers are only for seasons in which they played for the Red Sox, which means Teddy's and Pesky's war seasons and any seasons for other teams.
