Who is MLB's Model Franchise?
Hello to all fans of baseball. I am here specifically to find out, in the baseball fans op- inion, which franchise is the poster franchise for Major League Baseball in terms of talent, integrity, and fan treatment. You may select from all 30 MLB clubs. If the MLB was to select one club to represent who they are and what they were about, who would it be? Thank You for your cooperation, and good luck to whomever you may root for!

The Rex Hudler Show
Anyone else listen to the Rex Hudler show on AM 830 KLAA?
Its at roscoe deli in fullerton live every friday. the show covers everything and rex is a great host along with jeff biggs as co-host. if you ever listen, he gets as excited as the fans over what happens in and out of the games(as in trade scenarios). he really gets involved with the crowd there, lets them ask questions, responds to everything they say, and unlike some other radio show hosts, he actually gives the callers a second chance to comment after he says his opinion. Anyone that gets KLAA (which is also owned by arte) should listen to it. Its on before every friday home game. He almost also has a guest on the show, many of them former angels or associated with the angel organization. The "Wonder dog" is just another crazy and cool fan, only among the rank of broadcasters, and is one of the most personable people you will ever here talk. Below is a link to info about the show, which as i have implied i highly suggest listening or going to Roscoe's to see the show.

Kotchman.. Great player, class act
Check out this article from angelsbaseball.com. this shows how great the kotchman family is for the angels. what a great dad... and a great kid. hope these two can stay in the angel organization for a very long time. they are model baseball citizens. i hope a lot of kids look up to kotchman. he's a great player too. his hitting has mecured... and look at his Glove. seems like he's already secured the golden for this year

Press Enterprise according to espn Reports Escobar will return
An linked article on espn to the press enterprise said that Kelvim Escobar will return this season. Only he will return as a reliever. Seeing escobar was great about to years ago, escobar should be good there, but wont that make a crowded bullpen. could bootcheck be on the way out? also, the article points to an interesting scenario-- if K-rod goes out next year (and by all means i dont want that in anyway) could escobar be the closer next year? here is the link to the full article.

Is that a typo... Percival the save angels the loss?
How the times change. out of all the former angels ive seen play against them, percival is the hardest to watch shut em down. best of luck to him, but id sure as heck like him back, especially with all our injuries.
Percival made the final out in '02, and he will go down as one of the greatest halos of all time. Anyone else think he's a hall of famer? i think his numbers are good enough.

MLB cant tell the difference
On the Angels official website, http://losangeles.angels.mlb.com/index.jsp?c_id=ana
the section just below the top right side usually has highlights of the days Angels game, as it is on all the other teams websites. only one problem: as of 5/3/08, there were DODGER highlights in that box. get it straight MLB, our owner has done enough with our name crisis.

Hunter Homers
What do you guys think the chance of Torii Hunter hitting 35 homers this year. and also- how many will vladdy hit? The pitching has gone down recently too. can their offense keep up to support their pitching for once. whatever happens, this year is special. i can already feel it, with hunter's home runs last night. this team just seems to have a lot of good chemistry. Could this year possibly end with a win in the series?? you betcha.
