Percy Time

Despite their 11 - 2 lead, the Tigers brought in Troy Percival to pitch the 9th inning in front of their sold out house.

He pitched a 1-2-3 inning. He pitched it with a high leg kick, a sneering stare into the pitcher, a fistpump after getting the strikeout and a confident handshake with the firstbaseman who fielded a little grounder for the final out of the game.

He did it all with his name above the number 40 on the back of his jersey.

If you saw it and didn't cry, this ain't your site because the Angels aren't your team.

Frankie's got a lot to pitch for, we're gonna be fine. But you never really do know what you had until you lose it.
