Angels Baseball Player Turnover

New, 7 comments

Jeff Kent has the third-longest tenure of any Dodger, having played for the Brooklyn Landgrabs since 2005. Two players there, Brad Penny and Olmedo Saenz, have been with the team since the 2004 Division Winning squad. Neither was on the 2003 team.

And the Angels?
2006...
30 players of the 40 Angels to appear in a game in 2006 remain
(including the currently non-roster Curtis Pride)

2005...
21 players of the 40 Angels (2007 non-roster Pride, Bootcheck)

2004...
14 players of the 38 Angels (2007 n.r. Hensley, Pride)

2003...
9 players of the 43 Angels (2007 n.r. Bootcheck)

2002...
6 players of the 40 Angels

2001...
3 players of the 38 Angels

In that time the Angels have had:

1 batting coach
One 1B coach
2 owners
3 coaches between the Bench and 3B coaching positions
