On Sunday, September 25, 2005 the Angels were in First place with a Four Game Lead. Then they went into North Fremont and took care of business. So the last time we had a four game lead, we cruised.
The Angels are in First Place by 4 games. Let's enjoy it, sure, but not get too comfortable or gloat, even though the Angels' magic number is now down to 114.
And as NPCody pointed out in one thread earlier:
On this day last year, our record was 17-26. Today, we are 27-18.
It almost seems to have been worth the wait!
