Joe Saunders was called up from AAA Salt Lake to start in place of Bartolo Colon on Saturday night at Angel Stadium. Since Bartolo's forearm tightness is not considered a long-term problem, instead of placing him on the Disabled List the Angels sent Kendry Morales down to the minors.
