Black Magic was handed the lead in the middle of a mediocre start and he absolutely fell asleep at the wheel. He did not cover first base after surrendering a leadoff tripl in the bottom of the 5th. A quick toss by Kendry Morales to Howie Kendrick covering First Base gets an out and holds the runner at 3rd. Then Squirmin' Ervin gives up a two-run homer to Marlon Byrd.
Is he in Turnbow/Jenks territory yet, folks? Can we just pull a Billy Beane Loaiaza and give him up for free? This was gutless, ball-less pitching at its weakest...
