Blame of the Game: Darren Oliver
I did not give Darren Oliver the Panther of the Game when he did a nails hold on a Kelvim disaster last week, so how can I legitimately give him the blame on a night the offense was like a flat tire rolling up hill, Sissyphus style... but in the end the blame is so equally shared on the shoulders of the entire offense that Oliver's egregious inning - the one that vested him $2 million in 2008 as it was his 60th appearance in an Angels uniform and that is what agents are good at negotiating inot agreements - well, Oliver's inning basically was the equivalent of the offense being constipated and the pitching taking a dump.
