This was supposed to go up last night, but the site went under maintenance and... well, now it's a little late for the first game... but keep 'em in mind still.
Some say, "Spring stats dont count!" Well. I'll agree with them. These stats certainly don't count. Clearly spring stats won't correlate to a good year to the players. That's certainly ludicrous. But what do I know.
Well, actually everything eh. Here are your compiled results for the SPRING TRAINING OPD/RHP mash'mGASM games. From game #1 to game #29. Your choices have been scored and tallied, and has been ranked. Who came out on top??
But first, let's keep somethings in mind for the future games THAT COUNT:
- I will do my best to post the results within the hour of the game ending. But as I have classes to deal with, some days it wont be possible. I'll try to do it before I go to bed though. IF YOU SEE A MISTAKE, Please reply to my post. I will usually check back and reply that I have fixed it (if it is valid). IF I HAVE NOT REPLIED after about a day, please e-mail me or reply to me on a gamethread (that I'm participating in) and I'll do it ASAP. Bug me about it. Seriously.
- HOWEVER, You have until 1 day after my weekly score progression (USUALLY on Saturdays) to report any problems for that week. After that it's locked in stone. Be vigilant in making sure I have done things right. There were almost 200 total players last year, HalosHeaven has clearly grown since, and I can only do so much :P
- When making picks IN GENERAL, Make sure that your picks stand alone as much as possible. For example, put it in the title. Or, put it in the body, seperate from text. If you surround your picks with other text, I may accidentally overlook it!
- When making RUNS & HITS picks, Keep the ANGELS picks first. THEN the Opposing team. Uniformity is key. If you don't follow it, it's possible I'll accidentally reverse your picks while logging (Though, I generally do a double take if you select Opponent > Angels) As stated above, tell me and I'll MAYBE fix it for you, but make it a habit and I DEFINITELY wont.
- When selecting PLAYERS, keep this in mind: Yes, a bunch of you have clever nicknames for players. (And yes, they are awesome... well mostly.) And I will proudly say I can decipher most of them with ease. Buuut... make it too obscure, I'll have to play a guessing game. So, be sure to check my 'guesses' in the results for the day were correct. Check check check
- Bottom line: CHECK THE RESULTS! Sure, it's just a game (...well, not juust a game), but I want it to be as accurate as possible. I'll try my hardest to make sure it's flawless, but that's impossible. And everyone assuring their scores are right, will help me out greatly (in the unlikely event of an error :P)
