Angels rally for another victory -
The Angels won three of four games in the series and play host to the Texas Rangers in a three-game set, starting Monday. The Angels and Rangers are tied for first place in the AL West.

Back on the field, Guerrero powers Halos past Orioles -
Guerrero, who made his first appearance in the outfield after missing 35 games with a torn pectoral muscle, hit home runs in back-to-back games for the first time since July 19-20 last year when he faced the Boston Red Sox.

Torii Hunter, Brian Fuentes make All-Star team - Los Angeles Times
Chone Figgins is one of five candidates for the final roster spot, which will be determined by an Internet vote of fans.

Team Reports -
Chone Figgins has a campaign manager for his All-Star bid. "I'm going to get six different e-mail addresses and vote for Figgy," Angels outfielder Torii Hunter said.

Tribute set for Jon Wilhite - Los Angeles Times
Wilhite, injured in the car crash that killed Angels pitcher Nick Adenhart, will throw the first pitch at a minor league game at Fullerton on Monday night.

Team Reports -
RHP Sean O'Sullivan was optioned back to Triple-A Salt Lake after his start Saturday against the Orioles. With an off day Thursday, the Angels will not need a fifth starter again until after the All-Star break. The move allows O'Sullivan to continue starting on a regular basis through the break. He or Matt Palmer could rejoin the Angels' rotation after the break.

Tax Collector Gregory F.X. Daly hasn't stopped at ballplayers' salaries, though. Last year, Daly sued former Cardinals broadcaster Wayne Hagin — now the radio voice of the New York Mets — for an unpaid earnings tax bill of $4,600, including interest and penalties.
