Scot Shields Yields Walkoff Tiger HR for Angels Loss

Final Score in Detroit: Tigers 3, Angels 2 ... The final Angel from the 2002 team pulled the 2010 Angels back under .500 when he surrendered a solo walkoff homerun to Johnny Damon in the bottom of the 9th inning at Comerica Park. Kevin Jepsen and Fernando Rodney pitched scoreless single innings but with the score tied at 2 in the 9th, manager Mike Scioscia brought in Shields instead of closer Brian Fuentes.
