Every fan dollar spent on the Pats is a fan dollar not spent on the Red Sox. Drawing from the same inbred pool of frostbitten caw-pawkahs, every success that the Patriots enjoy pulls enthusiasm, money and brand-extending attention from John Henry's jockstrap.
Still, it is tough for me to root for any team from Assachussetts.
