Angees Uniform #10 ... this is the jersey that Vernon Wells wore as a member of the Angels beginning in the 2011 season. He was traded to the team in January and in less than a week, the team store at the stadium had his jersey for sale. So this team had made as great a commitment to Wells as they had any player and tried their best to market him. He just not only was finished as a marquee player, the players we traded for him and his bloated contract did great.

Suffice to say, they did not sell many #10 jerseys with WELLS on the back.
