To compensate for Alberto Callaspo pulling his hamstring last night, the Angels have called up infielder Andrew Romine from Salt Lake City (AAA) and sent Kevin Jepsen down to the minors in his place.
According to THIS LAANGELS INSIDER TWEET the Angels are hoping that 3 or 4 days of rest will be all Callaspo needs.
Romine is in uniform at the stadium but not in the starting lineup today. Maicer Izturis leads of at 3B.
