The Inland Empire 66ers just emailed me a press release that Angels pitching prospect Mike Piazza was promoted from their High-A California League affiliate to AA Arkansas of the Texas League today.
Piazza has 42 Ks in 35.2 IP and a 2.78 ERA in the high-octane offense Cal League.
