Following a no-hitter in his last start, sudden rotation workhorse Ervin Santana pitched the Los Angeles Angels to a one run complete game win over the Minnesota Twins.
Magic tossed 121 pitches, allowed 8 hits (the first one coming in the 2nd inning to end any suspense of back-to-back no-nos), an earned run, stuck out 7 and walked two Twins. Coupled with a Rangers loss to our beloved Detroit Tigers (2B Carlos Guillen 0-3), the Angels are now one game out of first place in the AL Western division.
