The Return Of The Flow Chart: Pitching, 2011 Edition

A long time ago, while in the middle of a work-related project that dealt with process control, I was monitoring a game in the background and I suffered a brain fart, mashing together a flow chart I was editing in Visio with a losing cause to Boston, I ended up inventing the Baseball Flow Chart.

I did several more of these (just use the seach tool for "flow chart" and "flowchart"), including one guiding Mike Scioscia's decision-making process for pitching decisions.

Suboptimal created a fresh Bullpen chart for 2010 but then, except for PhiSlamma tripping over a chart to select your favorite team, things in sweet science of Baseball Flowcharts went stale.

So they are back. Let's start with a 2011 Pitching Edition...
