Last night's magic sparkles have dwindled in the light of the afternoon sun. Chewing our nails waiting for word on Jered Weaver and any possible roster moves the Angels could make, what is there to do but look up the head to head results of tonight's starting pitcher versus the Yankees lineup.

Dan Haren is coming off his best start of the year, a complete game shutout of the Mariners featuring 14 strikeouts, but it was the M's and this is the Bronx Bombers, so adjust accordingly.

These stats are not park adjusted for that cheating short porch joke in the Bronx, so allow for Angel stadium to deflate these all just a tad...

DAN HAREN versus

  • Robinson Cano ... 7 for 28, 6 K, .250 OB%
  • Eric Chavez ... 2 for 7
  • Curtis Granderson ... 7 for 32 with 13 K but with 2 HR
  • Raul Ibanez ... 11 for 41 with 4 doubles, 3 BB, 1 HR and .439 Slugging %
  • Derek Jeter ... 8 for 29 with 2 doubles and 6 Ks
  • Russell Martin ... 6 for 36, 2 doubles, 3 BB, 9 Ks
  • Alex Rodriguez ... 6 for 20, 1 HR, .450 Slugging %
  • Nick Swisher ... 1 for 6, .167 OB%
  • Mark Teixeira ... 7 for 32, 3 HR, .531 Slugging %

Make of it what you will...
