Halos win 3-0.

Blast21dave here: Jered Weaver successfully out-dueled O's starter Jason Hammel, pitching 8 shutout innings tonight to lower his ERA to a league leading 1.96 while improving to 10-1 with one game remaining before the All-Star Break . Catcher Bobby Wilson had a heck of a game with 2 hits and a walk, Howie Kendrick drove in a run atoning for his error with the glove in the first inning and Mike Trout scored from first on a line shot double by Torii Hunter in the 7th inning. Scott Downs pitched a scoreless 9th for the save.

Lefty starter Brad Mills gets the call tomorrow in the series finale before the break. Angels Manager Mike Scioscia declared on the post-game interview that Mills will be limited to roughly 90 pitches. Jered Weaver should be the AL starter and if so named will be the first AL pitcher since Dave Stieb to make back-to-back starts for the AL All-Stars.
