Super Wow! Angels somehow eek out a win vs the Royals

Don't know how they did it... But the Halos did it. Tonight had it all... Errors, clutch hits, and home runs from both teams. Most importantly, the Angels won a game that could have easily gone the other way. Tonight it went the Angels way. Go Team!

REV-HF REPORTING: This game reminded me of the Osmond Brothers hit Just Like A Yo-Yo. The Angels and C.J. Wilson were down 3-0 to the Royals. Then they were up 4-3 then they were down and then down some more, scored a run, gave up a run and then took the lead in the eighth, tacked on an insurance run in the ninth and bet the KC Blue 9-7 to stay alive in the coming-down-to-the-wire AL Wild Card race.

The biggest hit of the night was a pinch-hit two-run homerun by Kendrys Morales to tie the game 7-7 in that three-run eighth inning. After Wilson and Garrett Richards had combined to allow seven runs in 6.1 innings, the new improved bullpen showed up with Nick Maronde, Jordan Walden, Kevin Jepsen, Scott Downs and Ernesto Frieri allowing only one hit and one walk combined.
