Mike Scioscia bumped Josh Hamilton down to the #5 spot in Monday's lineup against left handed Rangers starter Derek Holland. This is the first game that Hamilton will not be batting cleanup this season. Mark Trumbo gets promoted to #4.

Starter Tommy Hanson was placed on the bereavement list and relief pitcher David Carpenter was called up from AAA Salt Lake. Hanson was scheduled to start on Wednesday but the BL is a minimum three-day and maximum seven-day stay. A quick assumption here would be Jerome Williams pitching on three days rest from his three innings of relief on Sunday.

Monday's Lineup:

Peter Bourjos CF, Mike Trout LF, Albert Pujols DH, Mark Trumbo 1B,
Josh Hamilton RF, Howie Kendrick 2B, Brendan Harris SS, Chris Iannetta C, Luis Jimenez 3B

Yes, it looks like they will have to pitch to Pujols with this one.

And in case you had not heard and were having a good day, Joe Blanton is the starting pitcher for the Angels.

Meanwhile Ron Washington left the hotel party long wnough to fill out a lienup card and here is what it looks like:

Ian Kinsler 2B, Elvis Andrus SS, Lance Berkman DH, Adrian Beltre 3B,
A.J. Pierzynski C, Nelson Cruz RF, David Murphy LF, Mitch Moreland 1B, Leonys Martin CF.
