Albert Pujols hit two home runs in a dominating 8-4 Angels win over the Rangers

In front of a national television audience, Albert Pujols and the Angels let it be known that whatever the other team is serving, they can always have theirs to go.

Pujols hit two home runs, one coming as part of a four-run first inning. It was his first HR of the season and he did not wait long for the second one, hitting a solo shot in the sixth - but he was intentionally walked twice in between by scaredy cat alleged ace of the Arlington staff Matt Harrison. Albert was also intentionally walked in the eighth inning.

Tommy Hanson was awesome in is Angels debut and the babying he took in Spring Training as he fully strengthened his tender shoulder paid off in a six inning, three run performance where he scattered six hits, walked nobody and struck out four Texas batters, throwing 90 pitches in the process.

Josh Hamilton had another miserable day at the plate in his return to the hayseed homerdump he called home for five seasons, but he did walk in the first inning after the Pujols blast and came around to score on Mark Trumbo's first home run of the season.

Peter Bourjos was 2-4 with a solo home run on a day where every Angel but Hambone and Howie Kendrick had at least one hit.
