FINAL IN ANAHEIM: Royals 9, Angels 5
Did you really think anything other than this was going to happen when you heard Barry Enright was going to be Wednesday night's starting pitcher? Enright went 2+ innings, giving up 4 runs on 5 hits, while walking 2 and striking out no one.
Did you think anything other than this was going to happen when Texas Ranger cast-off Mark Lowe came into the game with the bases loaded and none out? Lowe pitched an inning, but gave up 4 runs himself, adding to the horrific 7-run third inning.
Did you think anything other than this was going to happen when Erick Aybar was in the leadoff spot? He with the .282 OBA? Each Angel batter had at least one hit except for the guy at the top of the order.
With Wednesday night's loss, the Halos (15-25) fall 11 games behind the division leading Ranger, and have the second-worst record in the American league.
Did you really think this was going to happen with team?
