Angels Thursday Lineup

What you want is the lineup to be lined up.

The Angels are back home looking to keep the May victories coming.

Erick Aybar - SS leads off

Mike Trout - CF bats second

Albert Pujols - 1B in the field despite the allegedly sore feet

Mark Trumbo - DH batting cleanup

Josh Hamilton - RF batting fifth

Howie Kendrick - 2B is the sixth hitter, which you could philosophically consider to be the two-out cleanup hitter.

Hank Conger - C which indicates that Mister Iannetta really took a kick in that nineteen inning game (yest, it really happened, no you did not dream it).

Brendan Harris - 3B but Callaspo looms nearby in San Bernadino

J.B. Shuck - LF batting 9th

Joe Blanton is the starting pitcher - supposedly an innings eater, which tends to mean four runs or less through seven (aka the wobbly quality start), Bluto McBeardo gets into the sixth like a spiked ping-pong ball bouncing about an opposing lineup, often generous to a fault with the on-base invitations. Ugh.

No word on the Scott Downs injury, and no way Ernesto Frieri pitches today after yesterday's prolonged outing.
